Skylon Tower

For a view like no other, visit the Skylon Tower at Niagara Falls. The signature glass-enclosed “Yellow Bug Elevators” take you up to the top in fifty-two seconds.

From the top you can see Niagara Falls, the Great Gorge, Niagara wine district and the city skylines of Buffalo, New York and Toronto.

They also have two good dining options, one of which is the world-renowned Revolving Dining Room restaurant. Here you can enjoy award-winning continental cuisine while spectating the beautiful falls and Niagara Area.

The Skylon Tower is well worth a visit for anyone who enjoys a fine meal and unparalleled views.

Maid of the Mist

What better way to experience Niagara Falls than to delve into the falls themselves? That’s right, the Maid of the Mist takes you right in to witness one of the wonders of the world, firsthand.

The Maid of the Mist is a boat tour that takes you from the Rainbow Bridge past the American and Bridal Veil Falls and inside the curve of Horseshoe Falls. They give you a cool poncho with Maid of the Mist embossed on front, and you get to keep it. Here’s a picture of me in mine:

The Maid of the Mist offers a highly interactive and beautifully designed website for people to access information, prices, and to learn more about the history of the Maid. Visit at: www.maidofthemist.com

Nightmares Fear Factory

For all the haunted house freaks out there, Nightmares Fear Factory sets the bar high. Notorious for making all their visitors scream, this haunted house is by far the scariest one the falls has to offer.

The suspense builds up in the air as you line up on the rackety stairwell to the doors that lead to your greatest fears. You can practically taste the fright of everyone around you as they count down to their turn. Meanwhile, screams and thuds from inside the haunted house petrify you further, causing cold sweat to form on your forehead.

When it’s your turn, you go through a few minutes of torture while something creepy or frightening lurks at every corner. Before you leave they show you an embarrassing photo they captured of you and your group absolutely terrified, and give you the option of buying it.

I would highly recommend everyone to visit Nightmares Fear Factory and to take your friends with you. Also buy the picture as it makes for an excellent keepsake.
